ZeroExpose

Technology Overview

ZeroExpose is the core of Dhiria's Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PET). Thanks to this innovative technology, we are able to process data while ensuring that at no point during the processing will the data be “exposed,” meaning it is never visible to Dhiria or third parties.

ZeroExpose is based on the latest scientific advancements in Homomorphic Encryption (HE) to guarantee the highest possible privacy standards. With this technology, both the data to be processed and the AI models running on Dhiria’s platform can be encrypted. This ensures that neither the data nor the models are exposed, fully implementing the concept of ZeroExpose.

ZeroExpose ensures that even the processing results are encrypted. Only the client in possession of the private key can decrypt and utilize the results.

Dhiria’s ZeroExpose products include:

• ZEImage: A ZeroExpose product capable of classifying encrypted images to recognize patterns within them. This product runs on the 4DZE platform and can receive images (potentially containing sensitive information) that have been encrypted by the data owner, process them while keeping the data encrypted throughout the processing pipeline, and return a result that is also encrypted. Only the data owner who initially encrypted the image can decrypt the result. ZEImage enables value extraction from images through the ZeroExpose approach, meaning the image content and processing results are never exposed.

• ZEDetect: A ZeroExpose product for predictive maintenance capable of processing vibrational data from machinery to identify potential malfunctions. The encrypted vibrational data is sent to the platform for processing, which will occur on the encrypted data throughout the pipeline. The result will then be sent, still encrypted, to the machine owner, who will be the only one able to decrypt it and receive the information regarding possible malfunctions in the machinery analyzed.

• ZEPredict: A ZeroExpose product for predicting encrypted time series. With this product, companies that need to process time series data containing potentially sensitive information (e.g., strategic business data, personal or medical data, energy consumption data, or stock portfolio index data) can encrypt their time series, transmit them encrypted to the 4DZE platform, and receive an encrypted prediction for the desired time horizon. Thanks to ZeroExpose technology, at no point during processing is the time series decrypted, and the resulting prediction will also be encrypted. Only the data-owning company can decrypt the result and view the predictions.
